I recently have re-vamped my skin care routine a little bit, and have been really loving the result. All of these products I have been using for a while now, and I really love them all.
Firstly, to remove any make-up I use my Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk. I got this in a gift set at Christmas and to start with I wasn’t a fan of this product as I had previously read that milks are not good for dry skin, which I have, and I am not overly keen on the smell. However, its really grown on me. It is really effective in removing all make-up from my face, and my skin is always left feeling super soft afterwards. It doesn’t seem to dry my skin out so its a win win for me.
I will then go in with my Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist. This is the most recent addition to my collection, as it came as a free sample with a cult beauty order that I made (blog post coming soon). The first thing I noticed about this product is how fine the mist is. Its amazing. The smell is divine also and it has replaced my Body Shop Aloe Calming Toner, on nights where I feel my skin needs a little something extra.
I then go in with an eye cream. Now, I will be honest, this is the first eye cream I have ever really used. I just never got into the habit of using one, but, after using this for several month I now never miss this step out because I notice if I do the next day. The eye cream in question is the Lush Enchanted Eye CreamLush Enchanted Eye Cream – for those you who use lush products you will notice that the packaging has done the annoying thing that all lush products do after a while. This is a really light thin cream, and works really well. My only issue is that you have to press down so lightly on the pump, otherwise it squirts half way across the room, and one whole pump is way to much. You have been warned.
Lastly I go in with my Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I’m not going to talk about this too much as I have already wrote a separate blog post on it (which you can read here). Lets just say, I love this stuff.
Sometimes if I feel my skin needs an extra boost I will use a mask, this is usually on a Sunday when I’m having a bit of a pamper session. My masks of choice are the Aesop Parsley Seed Mask, which is a new purchase but ohh eemmm geee I love it, or the Una Brennan Rose Hydrating Mask. If I’m having a few breakouts then I will use the Kiehls Blue Herbal Spot Treatment.
So, that’s it. What are your favourite night time skincare products?
