Eyelash Extensions: My Experience, Day 1

I have always been curious about eyelash extensions. A few of my friends have them and I think they look great. I thought of having them for holiday in June as I wouldn’t have to wear mascara and would look good for the week I was there, but decided the give them a test drive first in case I couldn’t get on with them. So today, I went and got them done, and I thought over the next few weeks I would share my experience for you all.

Application. The application itself is very relaxing, you have your eyes closed the whole time and you can’t really feel them being applied. It took around 1-2 hours, but times can vary depending on how many you need to be applied. The lady who did mine told me that for every eyelash I have, she applies 1 extension.

Price. Obviously dependant on where you go, prices vary. From research I have found that you can pay anything from £20 to £60, but I paid around the middle of those two brackets, and I feel that’s pretty reasonable, for the amount of time it takes to have them applied.

First Impressions. I have had them applied for around 4 hours now, and I really like them. I can’t even feel that they are there which is great, and they just make me look like I have lashings of mascara on. It’s a bit of a shock looking in the mirror but that’s something I will get used to.

As you can see below they make my lashes look a lot fuller, and I will keep you updated on how they last!

Have you ever had eyelash extensions? If so how did you find them?
