I was putting my makeup on the other day and realised that the last month or two, I had been using mostly drugstore makeup. I try to switch my makeup every few months, but these are the 5 items I have been using a lot – and one skin care item.
L.A. Girl Pro Conceal (Beautiful Bronze). I’ve not owned this long but I instantly new I liked it. Obviously its way darker than my skin tone, so I use it to contour and bronze. It blends really easily and looks good when I have put fake tan on, and because it’s a cream it works well on my dehydrated skin.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. I used to use this when I was around 15, and when I started discovering more brands, I just forgot about it. I have been using this since before Christmas, and I can remember why I used to love it. It leaves a glow to the skin, but it’s not disco ball shiny. It’s medium coverage and hydrating also. An oldie but a goodie.
Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow 209. Firstly, how beautiful does it look in the pan? These eyeshadow’s can be used wet or dry, however I do personally prefer them dry. This shade is a gorgeous olive green/khaki with a shimmer running through it. I have been using this all over the lid with a matte brown through the crease for definition. I really need to go pick some more of these shadows up, as they have an amazing range of colours.
Soap and Glory Daily Soothe Bath Float. I am very much a bath person, and this always makes them a little bit better. It has the traditional Soap and Glory Scent, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smelling great. I put some under running water and it creates bubbles. With the addition of a lush bath bomb it’s just about perfect.
Kiko Lipstick 603. I am such a sucker for packaging. 603 is a really nice matte brown nude, and I have been loving this with MAC Patina on top to lighten it up a bit. It doesn’t dry my lips out and last for aaaaageeeesss. Need I say more?
