One of the highlights of my trips has to be visiting Temecula and going olive oil tasting. If you ever take a trip out there, I would highly suggest it. It was in a building that looked like a little house, all decorated with christmas decorations. We tried so many different flavours, and I was blown away by the taste – it doesn’t sound like fun but it really was. I hope you enjoy the snaps I took while I was there!

I loved all the flavours we tried – especially the Jalapeño! We bought loads home and are pretty much stocked for the year. The town itself is so beautiful too, lots of antique shops to browse. Have you ever been olive oil tasting?!

So, this time last year I decided that I was going to start my blog. To be honest, I didn’t think I would keep it up or even start a YouTube channel. Saying that, I am so glad I did. The blogging community is such a warm and welcoming one, I never want to leave. I know towards the end of the year my blogging became a bit sparse, but I’m hoping that I can get on top of it, especially after I (finally) complete my degree in June.

Reflecting

I really feel that this year is going to be a good one. If you havent read my previous posts, you wouldn’t know that I am fed up with education. I can’t wait to finish as I feel I can finally start the rest of my life. So this year that is finally happening and hopefully some other exciting stuff too.  Reflecting on 2016, its been a good year, mostly. I feel like I found my place a bit more, and I have made some wonderful memories with my friends and of course Callum. A little shout out to him because he really is my rock and I don’t know how I would get through without him.

In terms of New Years resolutions, I have 3 and they are pretty simple. Pass my degree, learn calligraphy and hit 1000 subscribers on YouTube – if you havent subscribed already, PLEASE do. I was kindly gifted some calligraphy pens for Christmas so I’m hoping to be a pro by new year (fingers crossed). Along with the cliche being healthy, I want to travel more too.

What are your new years resolutions?

My days are slowly becoming more and more festive, and this week I went to the Bullring to go Christmas shopping. I had the best day with Mum, eating sushi and wandering around the shops. I love this time of year, everyone seems to be in a good mood all the time – however stressful I find shopping for presents!
